This hat will be made by choosing from these: http://brownsheep.com/lp.htm colors and supplying me with the circumference and height you want the hat to be. The yarn is a wool/mohair blend and must be handwashed and dried flat. Please choose two color options for each color in case my dear local yarn store doesn't have the ones you want! Measure the child's head from the forehead to around the ears where you want the hat to sit, and the height from the same point up to the center top of head. You can supply the info in the comments section of your order. I will embroider the fiddle head fern design in a complementary color of my choice - and I can do other simple shapes or designs if you would like to substitute.

This hat is knit with two yarns - a Wool/Mohair blend in purple and a handspun (by me) Merino Wool/Silk blend for the brim. The hat spirals upward to a elfish point and the brim has delicious texture in seed stitch. The hat fits short - just coming down over the tips of the ears and is sized to fit a medium-large head (pictured on a medium). Handwash gently and dry flat.
